The variation in production comes down to several factors, but one of the most important is how much is lost during filtering. We are trying lots of different ways to achieve an efficient filtration system and are improving our process each time. It means more delicious Sloe Gin for everyone!
This is also the last batch we are making during 2013. We are pretty thrilled to still be the only producer of traditional Sloe Gin in the US today. And we made a Mulled Sloe with this batch for our distillery Holiday Party. Fantastic.
