The husband-and-wife team of Ashby and Timo Marshall founded Spirit Works Distillery in 2013, having originally moved to Sonoma County just “inspired by the countryside.” Timo’s British family had a history of making gin for generations, so he decided to give it a try. Now Spirit Works produces seven spirits including gins, vodka and whiskey, all distilled using wheat milled in-house. Read the whole piece here.
